Scotia Group Jamaica appoints deputy CEO

Scotia Group Jamaica Ltd. said it appointed David Noel as deputy CEO with direct responsibility for retail and commercial banking, life insurance, investment management and brokerage, micro finance and mortgages.

Noel, whose appointment is subject to regulatory approvals, will report to Jacqueline Sharp, the company's president and CEO.

Noel joined Scotiabank in 2001 and has been serving as the firm's managing director for the Caribbean East region since November 2013.
