Former Hyatt Hotels exec named Xenia Hotels CFO

Former HyattHotels Corp. executive AtishShah is joining XeniaHotels & Resorts Inc. as executive vice president, CFO andtreasurer, effective April 25.

Xenia said March 29 that Shah will oversee all aspects ofthe finance function, including capital market activities, financial reporting,accounting, treasury, tax, internal audit and investor relations.

He will also replace Joseph Johnson as the company's principal financialofficer. Johnson will continue to serve as the company's senior vice presidentand chief accounting officer, as well as its principal accounting officer.

Shah has nearly 20 years of financial management and lodgingindustry experience. Most recently, he was senior vice president, strategy,financial planning and analysis, and investor relations with Hyatt, where healso served as interim CFOfrom April 2015 to March 2016.

Xenia's previous CFO, Andrew Welch, recently resigned by "bymutual agreement" with the company's board of directors.
