TPG Capital to acquire healthcare software provider from Thoma Bravo

TPG Capital agreed to acquire Mediware Information Systems Inc. from private equity firm Thoma Bravo LLC.

The transaction is expected to close during the first quarter of 2017. Additional terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Mediware supplies software as a service and other software platforms for healthcare and human services providers and payors across acute, non-acute and community-based sites of care.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs & Co. and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey acted as financial advisers to TPG, while Ropes & Gray LLP served as its legal counsel.
