U.K.-based Monese Ltd. is to integrate its services with online payment company PayPal Holdings Inc.

Under the terms of the agreement, the digital current account provider's customers in the U.K., Germany, France and Italy will be able to link their Monese and PayPal accounts, with plans underway to roll out the arrangement in other parts of Europe in the months ahead.

Customers will also be able to manage PayPal balances and transactions from the Monese app and add Monese cards to PayPal accounts.

PayPal participated in the digital startup series B funding round to raise $60 million in September 2018.
