Windstream upsizes term loans

WindstreamHoldings Inc. completed the redemption of all of its outstanding 7.875% senior notesdue 2017 and amended its existing senior secured credit agreement.

Pursuant to the amendment, Windstream upsized the principalamount of its existing tranche B-6 term loans to $747 million from about $597million and decreased the interest rate by 100 basis points to LIBOR plus 4.00%per annum, according to a Sept. 30 news release.

The company used the proceeds from the increased $150million term loans, along with revolver borrowings, to retire the remaining$369 million of the 2017 notes.
