Savills acquires 2 northwest England property businesses

U.K.-based real estate services provider Savills PLC acquired two northwest England-based property businesses, including residential sales, lettings and property management firm Case McNair, for an undisclosed sum.

Manchester-based Case McNair leases and manages a rental portfolio worth more than £200 million. The company's 15-member team will join Savills, led by Managing Director John-Paul Case, who will lead the northern metropolitan lettings business. The Case McNair team will continue to operate out of their current office on Bridge Street in Manchester before moving to the Savills office on Booth Street in early 2019.

Savills also acquired the Knutsford branch of residential sales and lettings company Meller Braggins.

Charlie Kannreuther will head the Savills Knutsford branch on Princess Street, while Meller Braggins Managing Director Nigel Lammas and two colleagues will move to Savills, effective immediately, according to an Oct. 11 release.
