Estia Health Ltd. said Andrew Harrison resigned as a nonexecutive director of the company due to competing workload and board commitments.

Harrison joined Estia Health's board in 2014.

The company has appointed Karen Penrose to replace Harrison as a nonexecutive director.

Meanwhile, outgoing CEO and Managing Director Norah Barlow will remain with Estia Health as a nonexecutive director.

Both Penrose and Barlow will stand for re-election at the company's annual general meeting.

Sydney-based Estia Health provides residential aged care services through its facilities and operating places across Victoria, South Australia, New South Wales and Queensland in Australia.
