The Los Angeles Superior Court granted Los Angeles County'smotion for tocontinue the temporary relocation plan for Porter Ranch area residents due tothe Aliso Canyon leak.
Under the preliminary injunction, SoCalGas will have toextend its relocation program until at least May 31, according to the company'sApril 27 news release.
"The air in Porter Ranch has returned to pre-leakconditions and there is no scientific evidence that justifies continuedrelocation," the SempraEnergy subsidiary said in a statement, in response to thecontinuance of the relocation.
The company said that it "will continue to transitionthose who choose to remain relocated out of hotels and into temporary residenceapartments" and will also provide "home cleaning services for anyrelocated resident who decides to exit the relocation program."
