Amazon India Ltd., the Indian subsidiary of U.S. e-commerce giant Amazon.com Inc., said it will open a network of 15 new warehouses for its app-only online grocery delivery service AmazonNow, LiveMint reported Feb. 26, citing a company statement.
The warehouses will be opened in the Indian cities of Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad.
Following the move, the company will have total dedicated storage space of about 120,000 cubic feet for the service in major metros, Amazon India reportedly said.
