Rama Vision Ltd said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, came to 9 Indian paise per share, a decline of 61.2% from 24 paise per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 911,250 rupees, a decline of 60.7% from 2.3 million rupees in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin dropped to 0.9% from 2.6% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 12.9% on an annual basis to 99.6 million rupees from 88.2 million rupees, and total operating expenses climbed 15.8% from the prior-year period to 97.0 million rupees from 83.8 million rupees.
Reported net income decreased 60.8% from the prior-year period to 1.0 million rupees, or 10 paise per share, from 2.6 million rupees, or 26 paise per share.
As of Feb. 13, US$1 was equivalent to 62.03 Indian rupees.
