Canadian REIT is proposing to add Karen Kinsley to its board, subject to an approval at the company's annual and special meeting of unit holders, scheduled for May 18.

Meanwhile, trustee Deborah Barrett is stepping down.

The company also noted that Andrew Hoffman resigned as a trustee in late 2016.
