Moody's Investors Service names president

Moody's Investors Service, the credit ratings agency unit ofMoody's Corp., saidApril 4 that Robert Fauber has been appointed president of the credit ratingsagency, effective June 1.

Fauber is currently the global head of Moody's InvestorsService's commercial group. He will succeed Michel Madelain, who is retiring aspresident and COO.

Upon his retirement, Madelain will serve in a part-timecapacity as vice chairman of Moody's Investors Service, according to a Form 8-Kfiled April 4.
