FERC on Dec. 13 issued an order approving Cypress Creek Holdings LLC's acquisition of FLS Energy Inc. and its planned 38.9-MW Innovative Solar 43 Project in Bladen County, N.C.

The plant is expected to achieve commercial operation before Jan. 1, 2017, and will sell power to Duke Energy Corp. utility Duke Energy Progress LLC, according to SNL Energy data. (FERC Docket No. EC17-28)
