Serent Capital provided financing to The Professional Cos., a home healthcare benefits management services provider in Arizona.

The company consists of three entities: Professional Home Care Services, Professional Cares and Professional Health Care Network.

In connection with the investment, Brian Sassi will become the company's CEO. Sassi was most recently president and CEO of the consumer division of WellPoint, which is now known as Anthem Inc.

Serent is a San Francisco-based investment firm with a focus on software and services businesses.
