A Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection white paper expects travel insurance sold to Americans to rise 4.9% in 2017.
According to the report, 36% of travelers surveyed expect to buy more insurance this year. About 61% of travel agents said 2017 would be a better year for travel insurance.
The company's report used surveys and a predictive global travel model to produce the findings.
