Report: English Premier League team Crystal Palace explores sale

Apollo Global Management LLC co-founder Josh Harris and Blackstone Group LP executive David Blitzer are looking to sell English Premier League team Crystal Palace, Bloomberg News reported, citing people with knowledge of the matter.

The two Wall Street financiers, who have owned the football club for about three years, have held discussions with at least one U.S.-based financial firm about the sale, the sources said. South London-based Palace ranks 13th in the 20-team league, the report noted.

A spokeswoman for Harris did not comment on the matter. PJT Partners, which was tapped to handle the sale, also did not comment. Blitzer did not respond to an email asking for comment.
