Blue Sky Uranium Corp. on Jan. 26 said it has launched a 3,050-meter drill program at its Amarillo Grande uranium project in Argentina, with a view to refine the project's geological model and further evaluate its potential for near-surface uranium deposits.
Drilling will include 166 holes at the previously explored Ivana, Anit and Santa Barbara targets, which were identified based on the geological model that was adjusted by the results of the company's recent geophysical program at the project.
The program is the first phase of the Blue Sky's planned 10,000-meter drilling at the project, designed to prepare for a potential resource estimation this year.
