Amazon.com Inc. will resume selling Apple Inc.'s Apple TV and Google Inc.'s Chromecast after pulling them out about two years ago, CNET reported, citing a confirmation from an Amazon spokeswoman.
Product listing pages for Apple TV, two versions of the Apple TV 4K, Google Chromecast and Chromecast Ultra are now added to the ecommerce giant's platform, but customers cannot buy them just yet, the Dec. 14. report said.
Amazon removed its rivals' streaming devices on its platform in 2015 given that Apple and the Alphabet Inc. unit's streaming devices did not work well with the Amazon Prime Video service.
The Prime Video app has just recently been added on Apple TV, the report said. Earlier this month, Google had a disagreement with Amazon, which led the former to pull YouTube from select Amazon devices.
Google is said to be "in productive discussions" with Amazon, according to a Google spokesperson quoted in the report.
