Desh Peramunetilleke was appointed Jefferies Group LLC's head of global microstrategy product in equity research. Peramunetilleke was previously head of microstrategy at CLSA.
Trevor Harrison was named head of BTIG Asia-Pacific client relationship management at BTIG LLC unit BTIG Asia-Pacific, in addition to his role as CEO of BTIG Singapore Pte. Ltd. Jorge Marrero, who previously worked at Execution Noble/Espirito Santo Securities HK, was appointed as managing director and COO of BTIG Hong Kong Ltd.

Matthieu Pigasse was named Lazard Ltd.'s global head of banking and deputy CEO of financial advisory in addition to his role as chairman and CEO of Lazard France and global head of sovereign advisory. Pigasse's position as global head of M&A will be taken over by Mark McMaster, vice chairman of investment banking and global head of industrials. McMaster will continue as global head of industrials.

Joel Stephens was named executive managing director and head of capital markets of Birmingham, Ala.-based Regions Financial Corp. unit Regions Bank, replacing Terry Katon who is stepping down. Stephens most recently headed the real estate capital markets group at the bank.
