Md. attorney general subpoenas Credit Acceptance

on March 18received a subpoena from the Attorney General of the State of Maryland, relatingto the company's repossession and sale policies and procedures in the state.

The companyon Sept. 18, 2015, received a subpoena from the Attorney General of the State ofNew York, Civil Rights Bureau, relating to its origination and collection of consumerloans in the state.

CreditAcceptance has earlier been investigatedfor its practices by theFederal Trade Commission, U.S. Department of Justice and the Massachusetts Officeof the Attorney General.

Accordingto a Form 10-Q filed May 2, the company is cooperating with the ongoing inquiriesand cannot predict the eventual scope, duration or outcome at this time.
