Kroll affirms ratings for Axos Financial, unit

Kroll Bond Rating Agency affirmed the BBB+ senior unsecured debt rating, BBB subordinated debt rating and K2 short-term debt rating for Axos Financial Inc.

Additionally, the rating agency affirmed the deposit and senior unsecured debt ratings of A-, subordinated debt rating of BBB+, and short-term deposit and debt ratings of K2 for the company's subsidiary bank, Axos Bank.

The outlook for all long-term ratings is stable.

Axos Financial's history of "consistent above-average profitability metrics," supports the ratings, according to Kroll. The rating agency also took into account the company's loan quality metrics and capital cushion.
