Cetip declares 29.4M reais interest on shareholder equity for Q4

Cetip SA said its board approved a shareholder's equity payment totaling 29.4 million Brazilian reais tied to the fourth quarter.

The payment, which corresponds to about 11.29 centavos per share on a gross basis and 9.60 centavos per on a net basis, will be made Feb. 8, 2017, to shareholders of record as of Dec. 23.

The company's shares will start trading "ex-rights" on Dec. 26.

As of Dec. 21, US$1 was equivalent to 3.34 Brazilian reais.
