Exelon Generation completes internal transfer of NY nuclear facility

Exelon Generation Co. LLC completed the transfer of direct ownership of the James A. FitzPatrick nuclear power facility and related assets to its Exelon Fitzpatrick LLC subsidiary.

The Exelon Corp. subsidiary on Dec. 11 notified the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission that it consummated the internal restructuring transaction on Nov. 30. FERC approved the transfer in October. (FERC docket EC17-142)

Exelon Generation acquired the 853-MW Fitzpatrick plant in Oswego County, N.Y., from Entergy Corp. in March.
