Fed Board prohibits 'Cartel' member from working in banking

The Federal Reserve Board has prohibited Matthew Gardiner,who used to work as a foreign exchange trader with and , from working in banking.

Gardiner was among those identified as belonging to"the Cartel" — the chat group whose messages were used to buildforex- against Barclays, UBS, , JPMorgan Chase& Co. and CitigroupInc.

The prohibition order also states Gardiner must"cooperate with and provide substantial assistance to the [Fed Board] … inconnection with the investigations of whether enforcement action should betaken against other individuals."
