Needham, Mass.-based Direct FCU named Donald Kelliher chairman of its board, Boston citybizlist reported Aug. 7.

He succeeded David Johnson, who retired, the news outlet added.

Kelliher, who has been a member of the board since 1985, has served as vice chairman, treasurer and chair of the board's personnel/governance committee, according to the report.
