O'Reilly Automotive to buy Mexican auto-parts supplier Mayasa

O'Reilly Automotive Inc. has entered into a definitive stock purchase agreement to acquire 100% of Mexican auto-parts supplier Mayoreo de Autopartes y Aceites S.A. de C.V., or Mayasa, according to an Aug. 20 release.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Mayasa has five distribution centers, supporting 20 company-owned stores and over 2,000 independent wholesalers in Mexico. The company's management team will continue to operate the business.

O'Reilly, a specialty retailer of automotive aftermarket parts and equipment in the U.S., expects to complete the deal in the fourth quarter of this year, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
