Yume no Machi Souzou Iinkai fiscal Q1 profit climbs 23.2% YOY

Yume no Machi Souzou Iinkai Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first quarter ended Nov. 30, 2014, was ¥1.29 per share, an increase of 19.7% from ¥1.08 per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥53.1 million, an increase of 23.2% from ¥43.1 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin rose to 6.3% from 5.3% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew year over year to ¥846.0 million from ¥814.0 million, and total operating expenses rose year over year to ¥759.0 million from ¥742.0 million.

Reported net income grew 8.1% year over year to ¥32.0 million, or 78 sen per share, from ¥29.6 million, or 74 sen per share.
