HomeMaid AB said its second-quarter normalized net income came to 32 Swedish öre per share, a gain of 18.1% from 27 öre per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 5.8 million kronor, an increase of 18.1% from 4.9 million kronor in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin rose to 5.7% from 5.4% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose 11.2% on an annual basis to 100.8 million kronor from 90.7 million kronor, and total operating expenses rose 10.6% from the prior-year period to 91.5 million kronor from 82.8 million kronor.
Reported net income grew 21.9% year over year to 7.1 million kronor, or 39 öre per share, from 5.8 million kronor, or 32 öre per share.
As of Aug. 31, US$1 was equivalent to 8.57 Swedish kronor.
