Manappuram Finance Ltd. said that Shailesh Mehta resigned as an independent director, effective Aug. 22.

In addition, the company plans to raise up to 30 billion Indian rupees through the issuance of convertible debentures in multiple tranches during the fiscal year ending March 31, 2019.
