Lancashire CFO to step down in 2020

Lancashire Holdings Ltd. announced that CFO and executive director Elaine Whelan, who also is Lancashire Insurance Co. Ltd.'s CEO, plans to step down from her roles and the group in 2020.

She will remain CFO throughout 2019 and the 2019 financial year-end process. She plans to step down as CFO and from her executive directorship of Lancashire and its subsidiaries at the end of February 2020, but will be available to assist with the transition for several months after.

Lancashire said it will be looking for a successor to Whelan, who became CFO at the beginning of 2011 after joining Lancashire in 2006. She joined the board in early 2013.
