Kevin McCarthy resigned from the board of Range Resources Corp., effective June 13.

McCarthy's resignation from the board, and from the board's governance and nominating committee, was not due to disagreements with the company or its operations and practices, according to a June 13 SEC filing.

Range Resources is an independent natural gas company operating in the U.S. through subsidiaries in the Southern and Appalachia regions.
