CITICSecurities Co. Ltd. raised 5 billion yuan through an issuance ofshort-term financing bills, Reuters reported July 15, citing a Chinese-languagerelease.

The bills were priced at par with an interest rate of 2.64%and they are due Oct. 13. The issuance is the company's sixth tranche offinancing bills in 2016.

As of July 14, US$1was equivalent to 6.69 yuan.
