SoCalEd contracts 111-MW AC solar from EDF Renewable Energy

Southern CaliforniaEdison Co. will purchase solar from EDF Renewable Energy's 111.2-MW AC Valentine project under a 15-year contract startingDecember 2019.

The Kern County, Calif.-based project is adjacent to the 18-MWCatalina Solar 2project which also delivers power to the EdisonInternational subsidiary, according to an April 6 company release.

EDF Renewable Energy is an EDF Group subsidiary.
