Jackson County Planning Commission in favor of Cypress Creek solar facility

TheJackson County Planning Commission in Oregon is recommending that the countyBoard of Commissioners approve CypressCreek Renewables LLC's proposal to develop a 9.9-MW solar facility.

TheBoard of Commissioners will hold a hearing on April 6 to decide the fate of theproject which, according to the MailTribune in Medford, Ore., could cost $15 million to $20 million.

CypressCreek plans to complete the project by early 2017.
