AEP Transmission issues $925M of debt securities

AEP Transmission Co. LLC on May 10 issued and exchanged $425 million of its 3.10% series F senior notes due 2026 and $500 million of its 3.75% series I senior notes due 2047.

The 2026 notes were reopened with an additional aggregate principal amount of $125 million for a total of about $425 million, according to a Form 8-K filed May 15. The new notes replaced 3.10% series D notes due 2026 and 3.75% series H notes due 2047.

The American Electric Power Co. Inc. subsidiary will not receive any proceeds from the exchange offers.

The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co. NA acted as the exchange agent for the exchange offers.
