Autoneum Holding H1 profit climbs 7.6% YOY

Autoneum Holding AG said its first-half normalized net income amounted to CHF5.75 per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of CHF5.44 per share.

EPS increased 6.5% year over year from CHF5.40.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was CHF27.1 million, an increase of 7.6% from CHF25.2 million in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose year over year to CHF1.01 billion from CHF980.6 million, and total operating expenses rose from the prior-year period to CHF944.1 million from CHF919.0 million.

Reported net income fell 88.9% from the prior-year period to CHF3.2 million, or 68 centimes per share, from CHF28.7 million, or CHF6.16 per share.
