U.S. hotels saw increases in all three key lodging metricsduring the week ended July 2, STR reported.
RevPAR jumped 8.6% to $88.64, while ADR rose 3.6% to$123.97, and occupancy climbed 4.8% to 71.5%.
Fourteen of the top 25 markets saw double-digit RevPARgrowth, led by Minneapolis/St. Paul, where hotels enjoyed the largest RevPARincrease, a 48.7% surge to $85.19, as well as the largest occupancy increase, a25.5% gain to 72.0%. Denver hotels, meanwhile, saw the greatest ADR increase, a23.9% jump to $152.88.
New Orleans hotels experienced the greatest RevPAR drop, a6.5% slide to $109.78, and the largest occupancy drop, a 2.2% dip to 70.5%,while Chicago hotels saw ADR fall 6.0% to $136.45, the largest decline of theperiod.
