Nederlandse Waterschapsbank names managing board chair

Nederlandse Waterschapsbank NV's shareholders named Lidwin Van Velden chair of the managing board of the Dutch bank, during its annual general meeting April 19.

Van Velden will replace Menno Snel, who left the bank in October 2017 to become the Dutch government's state secretary of finance. Van Velden's appointment has been approved by the ECB and De Nederlandsche Bank.

Van Velden has served as a managing board member of Nederlandse Waterschapsbank since 2010 and in recent years she has been responsible for risk management, finance and control and back office. The bank's supervisory board has is seeking potential candidates to fill Van Velden's position.
