AT&T to auction 37 surplus real estate properties

Telco giant AT&T Inc. is poised to sell its surplus real estate portfolio of 37 properties through individual onsite and online auctions that will run from Oct. 16 through Oct. 25.

The properties are spread across regional markets in Alabama, Florida, Illinois, Indianapolis, Louisiana, Georgia, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee and Wisconsin.

The assets, which will largely come with leaseback deals in place, include industrial and office assets. Several of the properties have potential for redevelopment.

The auctions will be conducted by Williams & Williams, along with strategic broker partner JLL.
