Iberinform, a unit of Dutch trade credit insurer , acquired an 80%stake in Ignios, a provider of commercial and financial information, and Igniosunit Gestifatura.

Iberinform is the information services company of Credito yCaucion, Atradius' primary credit insurer in Spain, Portugal and Brazil.Iberinform and Ignios have partnered for some time, with Ignios providinginformation in Portugal for Iberinform, Atradius said, adding that the mergerwill allow the companies to consolidate products and services in the Iberianmarket.

Gestifatura specializes in domestic and internationalcorporate debt recovery.

Atradius is majority-owned by Spanish insurer .
