MMJ PhytoTech director retires; replacement named

Australia's MMJ PhytoTech Ltd. said Jason Bednar retired as a director.

Bednar, who joined the medical cannabis provider's board in 2015, will remain an independent nonexecutive director of Canada-based Harvest One Cannabis Inc. in which MMJ holds a 59% stake.

MMJ PhytoTech also added Doug Halley to its board.

Halley most recently served as chairman of DUET Group, an Australian operator of energy utility assets.
