Penn Virginia expands board, appoints new members

Independent oil and gas company Penn Virginia Corp. on Sept. 3 increased the size of its board to seven members and elected Tiffany Thom Cepak and Jeffrey Wojahn as independent directors to fill the vacancies, effectively immediately, according to a Sept. 6 securities filing.

Before the appointment, Cepak was CFO of Energy XXI Gulf Coast Inc. from August 2017 to October 2018 and has been a director of Patterson-UTI Energy Inc. since 2014. Wojahn was executive vice president of Encana Corp. from 2003 to 2013 and president of Encana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. from 2006 to 2013.
