Andrew Peller Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2015, came to 14 Canadian cents per share, a gain of 25.6% from 11 cents per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was C$6.1 million, a gain of 25.6% from C$4.8 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin increased to 6.6% from 5.7% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew 8.4% on an annual basis to C$91.8 million from C$84.6 million, and total operating expenses increased 7.9% from the prior-year period to C$81.7 million from C$75.7 million.
Reported net income grew 25.8% from the prior-year period to C$7.1 million, or 17 cents per share, from C$5.7 million, or 13 cents per share.
