NORD/LB names chairman

said April 7 that its supervisory board appointedThomas Bürkle chairman of the managing board and Hinrich Holm deputy chairman,with effect from Jan. 1, 2017.

Bürkle,who has been a member of the bank's managing board as since Jan. 1, 2014,will take over from Gunter Dunkel, who decided to retire at the end of 2016.

Holmhas been a member of the lender's managing board since Feb. 1, 2010, initiallyas CFO and currently responsible for the capital markets business as well asthe savings bank network business. He is also responsible for the bank'sactivities in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt and the bank's foreign branches.

NORD/LB'ssupervisory board will decide in due course on a successor to Bürkle as chiefrisk officer.
