Private equity firm Pantheon appointed Rakesh Jain global head of its private debt team.

Jain, who is based in New York, will join the firm's global credit committee and will report to Dennis McCrary, who leads the U.S. investment activity, coordinates global investment activity and manages the private debt team.

Previously, Jain was a managing director and investment committee member at New York-based Star Mountain Capital LLC.
