Alto Metals begins fieldwork at Sandstone after securing exploration licenses

Fieldwork is underway at Alto Metals Ltd.'s recently acquired Sandstone gold project in Western Australia, after the company secured five exploration licenses covering 720 square kilometers at the property.

A 5,000-meter reverse circulation drill program is expected to start by late October and is initially focused on testing several high-priority, shallow oxide targets and deeper primary gold targets, the company said Sept. 27.

Before drilling, Alto will undertake geophysical surveying at the Lady Hamilton prospect to define drill targets in the primary zone and the overlying oxide zones.

The company is also planning a 10,683-line-kilometer, high-resolution airborne magnetic and radiometric survey at Sandstone to complement existing coverage.
