Pershing receives permit to start work at New Enterprise silver project

Pershing Resources Co. Inc. received a two-year permit from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management to clear an access road to begin a bulk sampling program on its New Enterprise silver project site in Arizona.

The program will target a pre-existing ore stockpile, estimated to contain between 8,000 tonnes to 10,000 tonnes of unprocessed ore with commercially viable levels of copper, gold, lead, silver and zinc.

The company said Aug. 10 it intends to kick off work on an access road in the next 60 days, followed by removal of material for processing.

Pershing plans to move forward with its bulk sampling program as soon as funding is in place.
