South Korean private equity firm MBK Partners is preparingits fourth fund, aiming to raise US$4 billion, The Korea Herald reported Oct. 4, citing "a source familiarwith the matter."
The firm is premarketing the fund and will begin the fundraisingprocess later in 2016, the source said.
MBK Partners manages over US$10 billion in three funds. Thesuccess of the new fund would make it among the biggest established in Asia inrecent years by private equity firms.
