Hong Leong Bank unit to shut down under voluntary winding-up

Hong LeongBank Bhd. will shut wholly owned unit Prominic Bhd. under member'svoluntary winding-up.

The unit is inactive and is unlikely to be operational inthe future.

The bank said Oct. 5 that it hired Ling Kam Hoong & Co.to liquidate the unit.

The bank's EPS and net assets for the fiscal year endingJune 30, 2017, will not be affected by the winding-up.
