Ameren Missouri is seeking the approval of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to acquire the 400-MW High Prairie Wind Farm in Adair and Schuyler counties, Mo. from a Terra-Gen LLC affiliate.

The project will operate in the Midcontinent ISO market and will be interconnected to Ameren Transmission Co. of Illinois' 100-mile, 345-kV Mark Twain transmission line.

The High Prairie project is slated to reach commercial operation by December 2020. Ameren asked the commission to authorize the transaction by Dec. 14, 2018.
